Last night, after a few days trying to make time, and a few months trying to find it, finally got to see ' Casualties of War. " Horrors cost me find this movie, despite being relatively well known. My problem was that I started searching with a title different from the translation in Castilian. 'Sins of war' was the translation that was given to this film by Brian de Palma in Portugal, which made me download a couple of occasions in the language of our neighbors.
After the second disappointment (so they say that the man does not stumble twice on the same stone), I found the title had been given to the English version. Although the translation is misconceived (should be 'Victims of war'), I finally managed to download as the 'Casualties of War. " And last night, after a few days waiting for the moment, I saw it.
I'm not sure whether we should give the genre of war movies or the genre of drama. While both genders may go hand in hand. Brian De Palma tells a true story that occurred during the Vietnam War . If you came to light this kind of thing, what other things are done in the wars that we do not know?
With Michael J. Fox (the first paper "seriously" I see him) and starring Sean Penn, the film follows the kidnapping of a young Vietnamese woman by a group of U.S. military (for the most finicky U.S.) for a mission jungles of Vietnam.
No doubt, I can say the wait has been worthwhile. The nearly two-hour feature film will go flying, but you almost know it. And the grim story is not just a new image, reflected faithfully the misfortune that is a war, and how they can even act as a number of people who have been granted the "power."
