Another destination that has always liked me pry it was London.
The truth is I did not know to what extent would exasperate me not having gone before, but still, we were uploaded on the plane to London. The trip went
my two conculinas and Carmen, another Erasmus as hopelessly crazy as us.
The city to which we were headed, was founded by the Romans around the year 43 under the name Londinium.
On arrival at Stansted Airport began to feel the chill in the air in London.
Luckily for us, and thanks to my conculina Teresotty, we had a very cozy home. As the brother and his girlfriend are working there. Whereupon and offered us shelter, and patterns to move around.
already settled once and guidance to know how to move in the subway, we went into a city that has a large number of cultures in the city because there are over 300 languages.
One of the best things we could spend money left, do two tours.
The first was a tour of old London. Each tour consists of about two and a half hours. At that time, travel attractions, while we tell the story of the city.
visited a church erected in honor of the RAF . That even had bullet holes in the second world war.
Another place which led us in the tour was the Temple Church. Was made as the model of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Built in the twelfth century as the new headquarters of the Templars in London.
The City of London was also something very peculiar, but still retains traces of its medieval way, and has its own mayor and assembly. Primary being the Queen herself report the mayor to enter.
That's precisely where the sites are quite large in the city.
Tower of London where now guarding the crown jewels, considered the world's most valuable and invaluable.
Westminster Abbey, a Gothic church where the crowns and burials of British monarchs.
The Palace of Westminster on the banks of the river Thames, is where they meet the two chambers of parliament, the House of Lords and the House of Commons. First
this facility served as a royal residence. And one of the most notable building is the clock tower with the famous bell Big Ben name. With a lightness of almost 13 tons.
Buckingham Palace was a must if only we could see outside, the palace waving a flag of Great Britain, which holds when the queen is in the palace, and not pregnant is removed.
The flag of Great Britain, is a combination of the flags of England and Scotland with the flag of St. Patrick of Ireland, after the unification of the kingdoms in 1800.
The Millennium Bridge was the only bridge by which we crossed a suspension bridge that was closed two days after being opened and after passing in 2.2 million pound budget.
St. Paul's Cathedral is a stunning visual marvel, we could not see inside but I would love, especially in the crypt. It houses the tombs of many important characters such as Horatio Nelson, Wellington, Lawrence of Arabia, Alexander Fleming.
told us the great fire of 1666. A fire broke out at the bakery in Pudding Lane Thomas Farrin. The fire consumed the figure of 13,200 houses and 87 churches, including the Cathedral of St. Paul.
following fire two monuments were erected to the memory of the fire. A monument is a Doric column consisting of 61 meters. What is the distance between the bakery where the fire originated in the column.
And another Golden Boy of Pye Corner, which highlights the place where the fire ended.
It was true that too many places to visit, including and most important was the British Museum. However
we saw the London Eye, a Ferris wheel that rises to 135 meters. And with the lights at night, leaving a picture marked in the retinas.
Another peculiar thing that there are parks around town, perfect for walking, read, or simply lie down to scan through the roof. Specifically
where we were in a home inside a Japanese garden, Kyoto Garden.
is a garden with a waterfall and a small shelf full of tents. Invites you to sit and admire the views from each of their banks.
The park is full of life, both fauna and flora, as in many dominant trees and animals. Squirrels bite, peacocks, ducks, swans etc.
and therefore no further delay, London is a city that has left me fascinated in every way, and a city in which if I have no doubt possible to return back.
