Susan George was born in 1935 in the U.S., but acquired French citizenship in 1994. She is president of the Observatory of Globalization, philosopher and political analyst. Also vice president of the French antiglobalization organization ATTAC (Association for the Taxation of Financial Transactions for the Aid of Citizens).
Among his academic degrees are the Doctor of Political Sciences (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, University of Paris), BA in French (BASmith College, USA) and Philosophy (Sorbonne, Paris, etc.). His current work is aimed at combating the current model of globalization, world trade organization, international financial institutions and North-South relations. And he has written numerous works critical of the global funding model.
With his work "The Lugano Report" George aims to highlight the contradictions of global capitalism. The book shows a group of nine experts charged with developing a report on the dangers to be faced in the capitalist system during the twenty-first century and possible solutions to ensure its continuity. In short, a true declaration of the left that seeks to discredit the global economic model and extolling the anti-globalization model.
